One of the best ways we see Yogibo used is with gamers. By making very comfortable furniture that is also modular, we’re letting gamers choose the setup that works best for them. With all of the great feedback we receive from gamers, it was only appropriate we show it to a big audience. What better place than in our own backyard?

We were honored to be a part of PAX East 2015. Taking place at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center, around 70,000 attendees descended upon Boston in a weekend of gaming, panels, tabletop, and more. Did we also mention gaming? Our dude Hugibo even came to party!

The show was full of awesome companies showing off their latest title. The show floor was packed with booths ranging from Xbox, Nintendo, and Blizzard, to an entire Indie Megabooth showcasing up and coming indie games. Some of our favorites included 343 Industries’ Halo 5 multiplayer, Motiga Games’ Gigantic, Hi-Rez Studios’ SMITE, OSome Studio's White Night, and Compulsion Games' We Happy Few.

Another fantastic part of PAX East is the cosplayers. There’s so many incredible people out there who know how to take costuming to a new level! We saw everything from plenty of Link & Mario, to Skull Kid, to Sub-Zero and more! Cosplay has become an enormous part of pop culture cons and it’s exciting to see it become even more awesome every single year!

Armed with enough Yogibos to seat tons of people, we set up our Yogibo handheld lounge on Level 1, right above the expo hall. We also had not one, but TWO booths on the expo floor itself! Right from the moment we set up the handheld lounge, attendees experienced the awesomeness by getting comfy and booting up their 3DS while taking a break from the massive show. We even had a mini Super Smash Bros tourney going. By the end of day 1, the entire lounge was full of people sleeping! (We may or may not have also taken a quick nap. It is a busy convention, after all.)

It wasn’t limited to attendees either! A good amount of the press came by and experienced Yogibo for the first time. This included our friends at IGN as Daemon & Brian declared them the most comfortable thing at PAX East! The ultimate gaming bean bag has arrived.

We’re also happy to report some of your favorite game studios, developers, YouTubers, and Twitch streamers stopped by and got comfy. Needless to say, there’s a lot in the works for Yogibo and the gaming industry! We couldn’t be more proud and humbled by all the stories we heard from the thousands of awesome people we met at PAX East. As always, we are growing, and we’re beyond excited to have gamers help us do just that.
